Creating A Purposeful Life
December 15, 2020

As a young girl and in my adulthood, I found myself reacting to my current conditions, and sometimes prematurely taking action which ultimately resulted in some bumps and bruises.  I did not know at that time that I was living my life by default, based on my limiting beliefs and conditioning I collected from my parents, teachers, experiences, etc.

As I got older, I got wiser, soaking up the wisdom present within me.  I now realize even then, when I was living my life by default I was simply sharpening my awareness and focus and acquiring some valuable tools to assist me now.

I am so appreciative of my wonderful teachers like Abraham Hicks, Eckhart Tolle, Neal Donald Walsh, my family, my yoga teachers, my students and many more for sharing their wisdom with me.

I find myself more and more each day responding calmly to current conditions and acting from inspiration rather than from observation.  This deliberate shift in my awareness allows me to enjoy more favourable outcomes.  I choose to live my life with deliberate intent, continuing to fine-tune and adjust to the rhythm of my life story.

The beauty of this “consicious realization” is never ending as it gets more and more pronounced.  When I slip back into my old mode of reactivity, I am more consciously aware of it and can easily shift my energy to one of more calmness and ease.  It is an intriguing and playful way of “being” and the gains I am accomplishing are priceless, not only for myself but to all components within that co-creative experience.

As our life unfolds with light and dark shades of contrast which is a necessary piece to our expansion to “more”.  I know that there will always be situations where we will be faced with choices as we create.  How we choose to flow our vital life force energy will determine the quality of our life to one of more suffering or to one of more ease.

A good benchmark to adopt to determine how we are choosing to flow our energy is by noticing how we feel on an emotional basis regularly.  A “good” feeling emotion is a sure sign that we are creating more of what we desire and a “bad” feeling emotion indicates that we are creating more of what we do not want.

In my next blog I will share with you a few things I do daily that I find helpful to keep me grounded and cultivate a more richer and purposeful life experience.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and a Happy and Joy Filled New Year!

I leave you with this powerful quote from Abraham Hicks:

“It is through your exposure to life experiences that your expansion is born. And once expansion is born within you, you only feel good when moving in the direction of your expansion. That’s why holding yourself in opposition to your own expansion feels so bad.”
