Missed Classes and Cancellations
Missed classes can be made up anytime during the current session period by notifying the instructor 1 day (24 hours) or more in advance.

If the studio cancels a class, a makeup class will be offered to students. A minimum number of students are required for a class/workshop to proceed.

 

Workshop and Pre-Registered Class Refund Policy
Payment is due upon registration. Once payment has been made, a full refund may occur up until 48 hours prior to the start date of the workshop or pre-registered class series.

If the Studio cancels a workshop or class series, a full refund will be issued.

Guidelines

Guidelines ensure a wonderful yoga experience.

Follow directional signs to maintain physical distancing of 2 metres or 6 feet apart from each person.

Stay at home if you are sick.

Wash hands with hand sanitizer provided by the studio before and after your yoga practice.

Arrive a few minutes early to allow yourself time to register, sign-in and prepare for the yoga class.

Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing from natural fibers, if possible. Your body should be able to breathe through your clothing.

Yoga is practiced bare feet to stimulate the vital nerve endings in the soles of your feet. Wearing socks in the class can cause injuries.

Bring your own yoga mat and yoga props as the studio will no longer provide mats and props due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach and we suggest that you do not eat 2-3 hours before a class. If you must eat, you can have a light snack e.g.fruit, nuts, seeds.

All students are responsible for their own practice. Be conscious and aware of overstretching and injuries. Your body is your temple.

Avoid any injuries or health problems, check with your doctor before starting to practice yoga.

Inform the teacher prior to yoga class about any serious existing health conditions; back, neck, or joint injuries, recent surgery, high blood pressure or pregnancy.

For women, when menstruating, it is advised to refrain from practicing inverted postures.

All cell phones and pagers should be turned off before entering the yoga studio.

Drinking lots of water after the yoga class is recommended.

    I give my consent for images (photographs, video) of myself to be taken and used to document the activities of Wenmarb Yoga. I grant Wenmarb Yoga permission to use the images for educational and promotional purposes. I understand that if I do not want images of myself to be used, I will indicate this in writing and the signed letter will be attached to this document.

  • WAIVER/ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

    By my signature below, I understand that the instructor Christine Lewis and the facility (Wenmarb Yoga) assume no responsibility for injuries or illnesses which I may sustain as a result of my physical condition or resulting from participation in a class, workshop, coaching session or program and/or from the use of the equipment at the facility. I further understand that I should consult with my physician before starting any physical activity. I explicitly acknowledge that I assume the risk for any and all injuries and illnesses, which may result from participation in any yoga class, workshop, coaching session and programs offered by Wenmarb Yoga. I hereby release and discharge the instructor Christine Lewis and the facility (Wenmarb Yoga) from any and all claims for injury, illness, death, loss or damage, which may result from my participation in activities at this facility in person or online (virtually). I further understand that during my participation in any activities with the instructor Christine Lewis and the facility (Wenmarb Yoga) that I will be moving my body in guided stretches, twists, back bends, inversions (physical postures), breathing exercises and I will take care to be aware of my limitations and any other concerns I have regarding my participation in online or studio yoga classes, workshops, coaching sessions and programs. If at any time during the class, I feel discomfort or strain, I will gently come out of the posture. I may rest at any time during the class. I understand that it is important in yoga that I listen to my body, and respect its limits.
